These terms cover your use of thediscoveryreadingclub.com, free accounts, and the paid membership, all run by Candace Babcock in Bozeman, Montana. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Questions? Email candace@thediscoveryreadingclub.com.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Please keep your login to yourself and let me know if you think someone else has used it. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Membership and billing

• The full membership is $19.99 a month, billed automatically each month through Stripe until you cancel. I'll give you notice by email before any price change for existing members.
• Cancel anytime from your Account page. You keep full access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Payments aren't refunded for partial months. If something went wrong with a charge, email me and I'll make it right.
• Promo codes (like a first-month discount) apply once per customer unless the offer says otherwise, and can't be exchanged for cash.
• A free account is free. I may change what's included in the free account over time.

Using the resources

Everything in the library (games, activities, printables, and videos) is created by me and protected by copyright. Your membership lets you:

• Use the resources with your own children, or with students you teach or tutor yourself.
• Print as many copies as you need for those children.

Please don't share your login, resell, post, or redistribute the resources (including uploading them to other websites or sharing files in groups), or use them to create products for sale. If you'd like to use them across a school or with other teachers, email me and we'll figure it out.

Educational information, not a diagnosis

The resources, blog, and emails share general educational information based on structured literacy and the science of reading. They aren't a diagnosis or evaluation of your child and don't replace an assessment by a qualified professional. If you're worried about your child's reading, talk with your child's school or a qualified specialist.

Things I ask you not to do

Don't misuse the site: no trying to access other people's accounts or information, interfering with how the site runs, or using it for anything unlawful.

Changes to the site and these terms

I'm always improving the library, so resources may be added, updated, or retired. I may update these terms; if the changes are significant, I'll let members know by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Ending your account

You can close your account anytime by emailing me. I may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, such as by sharing logins or redistributing resources.

Limits of responsibility

I work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but it's provided "as is," and I can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, my total responsibility for any claim related to the site is limited to the amount you paid me in the three months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana.
