One-on-one reading help, in person
Every child reads differently and deserves support that meets them where they are. In a 50-minute session, I work directly with your child on exactly the skills they need next, using books and materials chosen for them. Structured, multisensory, and grounded in the science of reading, in a way that feels like time with a favorite teacher, not a test.
Sessions happen in my dedicated tutoring space in Valley West, Bozeman, one or two times a week. You can start with a single session to see how it goes. No series commitment required.

Start with an assessment, or just start
An assessment is the best way to understand your child's reading profile, but it isn't required. If you'd rather jump in with a session and let me get to know your child organically, that works too. If your child has been assessed recently by a school or another specialist, you're welcome to send me those results.
Not sure? Start with the assessment. Once I know your child, I'll recommend the path that makes the most sense for your family, and you can always change course later.
Good to know
Where do sessions happen?+
In my dedicated tutoring space in my home in Valley West, Bozeman. Please arrive on time so your child gets the full session; if you arrive late, the session still ends at the scheduled time.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?+
Please give me at least 24 hours notice and I'll happily find another time. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session rate, because I prepare specifically for each session. Illness is the exception: keep your child home, let me know, and there's no charge.
How do I pay?+
Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept Venmo and cash. Your rate and the details are confirmed before we begin.
How is tutoring different from the membership?+
The membership is the toolbox: games, printables and activities you use at home. Tutoring is me working with your child directly, choosing what to work on and when. Tutoring families get the membership free, so home practice lines up with our sessions.
Will you talk with my child's teacher?+
Gladly, with your written permission. Your child's assessment results, notes and progress are kept confidential and never shared outside your family without your consent.
Tell me about your child
You don't need to commit to anything. Tell me a little about your reader and I'll be in touch within a day. Prefer to text? (406) 579-0449.
